Mr. Davidovic was a professional soccer player during 16 years in the first divisions of Europe.
PARTIZAN, Belgrade: 1956-1967 He started there and went through all selections and played professionally 5 years for them, they were twice Champion of Yugoslavia (1962/1963 & 1964/1965) and played in the finals of the Europe Cup I.
OAKLAND CLIPPERS ,California: 1967-1969 In the two years he played for them he won the Championschip, Cup of California, Cup of America and was voted best midfielder of the U.S.A.
NEC, Nijmegen Holland: 1969-1971 Where he led the team as captain.
S.K. LIERSE, Belgium: 1971-1978 During his seven year stay, they were twice Cup finalists and took part in the Europe Cup.
EARTHQUAKES,San Jose: 1978-1979
Meanwhile he graduated at the famous HEIZEL school for professional coaches in Belgium with highest grades
R. ANTWERP F.C.: 1980-1983 He made a fantastic achievement saving them from degradation and leading them to the Cup UEFA.

S.K. LIERSE: 1988-1989 Here he has created a miracle by taking them over while being in degradation danger and leading his team to win the playoffs and promotion. He took them 22 places upwards in 14 month's.
R. ANTWERP F.C.: 1989-1991 He led them to the ¼ finals of the Uefa Cup and he qualified them in the UEFA Cup again. The best result in Antwerp's history of 110 years.
AL WASL, U.A.E: From 1991-1992 they won the Championship after an amazing row of 27 unbeaten games. In 1992-1993 they won the Federation Cup and won a bronze medal in the Asian Cup which equals with the Europe Cup I. This was the best result in the history of the club.
KISPEST HONVED, Hungary: 1994-1995 Three month's before the end of the season Mr. Davidovic took over and they won 20 out of 22 points leading them to the Cup UEFA. They also played in the finals of the Hungarian Cup.
AL ITTIHAD, Saudi Arabia: 1996-1997 Mr. Davidovic has broken all records by winning the Federation Cup, the Crown Prince Cup and the King Fahed Cup. This has never been done before. He was voted best coach of Saudi Arabia.
SHARJAH S.C. U.A.E.: 1997-1998 They won the Presidents Cup and finished the season in second place.
AL ITTIHAD, Saudi Arabia: 1998-1999 Again a sensational result. They won the Federation Cup, the 1999 Golf Cup ( first time in the history of the club) and the Asian Cup Winners Cup (also the first time in the history of the club). They won the Saudi Arabian Championship which is called the King Fahed Cup.
The Asian football federation has pronounced AL ITTIHAD under Mr. Davidovic the best team and coach in Asia for the year 1998-1999.
Al WAHDA, U.A.E: 1999-2000 They played in the finals of the Presidents Cup.
AL ITTIHAD, Saudi Arabia: 2000-2001
AL AHLI, Saudi Arabia: 2002-2003 Won the H.R.H. Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Cup (the 6th international football tournament, Abha Saudi Arabia)
QATAR SPORTS CLUB, Qatar: 2005- 2006 Second place in the national competition, finalist of the Crown Prince Cup.
AL ITTIHAD, Saudi Arabia: 2006-2007 Won the Championship Saudi Arabian Championship which is called the King Fahed Cup. The only coach in Saudi football history to win 8 trophies from which 3 championship titles with the same club.
QATAR SPORTS CLUB, Qatar: 2007-2008

AL ITTIHAD, Saudi Arabia: 2010-2011 In may 2011 during a terrible season which led to the firing of 2 coaches Dimitri took over and succeeded in creating a sensational come back eliminating Al Hilal out of the Asian Champions League and the Kings Cup.
AL ITTIHAD, Saudi Arabia: 2011-2012 Dimitri created another record, being the only person to ever coach the same Asian top team for the 6th time and leading his team to the semi finals of the Asian Champions league placing Ittihad between the 4 best teams in Asia....
Mr. Davidovic works hard and efficiently with excellent results in every team. He has made several young internationals. He has definitely created one of the best football schools in the world. His love for the game and dedication are impressive. He speaks fluently English, Dutch and Serbian.
